¿Preparados para las semanas más culturales en Barcelona? Llega el festival GREC del 1 al 31 de julio. El Grec 2013 calienta motores y se dispone a abrir un mes con 79 espectáculos de teatro, danza, circo y música con propuestas rompedoras y nuevos formatos para adaptarse al movimiento y la evolución de las artes escénicas. ¿Te apuntas?

La Apertura será el día 30 de junio, con una fiesta popular en la avenida de Maria Cristina donde tocarán Els Catarres y los Lax’n’Busto y donde habrá, también, una acción de Comediants. Al día siguiente, el espectáculo “Opus” (el primero de circo del festival) inaugurará oficialmente el festival en el Teatre Grec. En la primera semana el Grec 2013 acogerá también una lluvia de estrenos de teatro, danza, música y teatro familiar.

Es una buena ocasión para hacer turismo por nuestra propia ciudad, que tanta falta hace. ¿Por qué? Porque en esta edición Montjuïc será de nuevo el epicentro artístico junto al Teatre Grec, el Mercat de les Flors, el Teatre Lliure y el Institut del Teatre. El Castell de Montjuïc, CaixaForum, el pabellón Mies van der Rohe o el Refugi 307 del Poble-sec también serán puntos que quizás te interese visitar. ¿Verdad que no has estado en todos? ¡Aprovecha!

Además, este año hay una novedad: el MiniGrec, para ir con niños en plan familiar a ver algunos espectáculos. Se acaban las excusas…

Creo que vale la pena verlo porque dentro de las nuevas propuestas y formatos habrá por ejemplo: “Cal·ligrames en moviment”, un itinerario en autobús por Barcelona que arrancará cada sábado por la mañana en La Caldera y terminará a media noche cerca del anfiteatro; “La naturalesa i el seu tremolor”, un itinerario andando alrededor del Teatre Grec que utiliza la danza el teatro y el cine para redescubrir el entorno urbano, la naturaleza, las montañas de Montjuïc… o “Subterrànies, sobreviure entre bombes”, un espectáculo de danza y teatro de 11 minutos sólo para 20 personas… O el Grec Anima, un espectáculo de danza vivo, dinámico y ecléctico que habla de sentimientos con 8 bailarines que se mueven a ritmo de hip hop, flamenco y otros sonidos que se hará el día 6 de julio. En la web del Festival, encontraréis toda la información de los espectáculos que forman parte del festival de este año y podréis comprar directamente vuestras entradas. También las podéis comprar en Ticket Ramblas (La Rambla, 99). Pero ¡ojo! que con los tiempos que corren te interesa saber que menores de 16 años, mayores de 65, parados, lectores de las Bibliotecas de Barcelona, familias… Tenéis un listado repleto de descuentos. Yo que vosotros lo miraría antes de comprar vuestra entrada para el Festival, porque seguro que encontráis la manera de ahorraros unos euros 🙂

The opening will be on June 30 with a festival in Avenida Maria Cristina with Els Catarres + Lax’n’Busto and there also the Comedians. The next day, the show “Opus” (the first circus ever) will officially open the festival at the Teatre Grec. In the first week the Grec 2013 will also host loads of premieres of theater, dance, music and family theater.

It is a good opportunity for sightseeing on our own city. Why? Because in this edition Montjuïc will be again the artistic epicenter as will also be the Mercat de les Flors, the Teatre Lliure and Theatre Institute. El Castell de Montjuïc, CaixaForum, the Mies van der Rohe or 307 Refugio del Poble-sec will also be points that you might like to visit. Have you ever been there?? This places deserve a visit! 

And this year there is something new: the MiniGrec, to go with children in family plan to see some shows. Are you running out of excuses?

Here you have some examples that I like and would like to see: “Cal · ligrames in moviment”, a tour bus around Barcelona that will start every Saturday morning in La Caldera and will finish at midnight near the amphitheater; “The naturalesa i el seu tremolor” a walking path around the Teatre Grec that will use dancing,  theater and cinema to rediscover the urban environment, the nature and Montjuïc mountains; “Subterrànies, sobreviure between bombes”, a dance and theater that lasts only 11 minutes and will be exclusively for 20 people; or Grec Anima, a live, dynamic, eclectic dancing that talks about feelings with 8 dancers moving to the rhythm of hip hop, flamenco and other sounds to be made on July 6. At the Festival website, you will find all the information of the shows and you can buy your tickets. You can also  buy them at Ticket Ramblas (La Rambla, 99). But hey!!! If you are under 16, over 65, unemployed, member of the a Library of Barcelona, ​​if you have the ‘big family card’ you have a full list of discounts. Have a look before you buy your ticket for the Festival, you’ll love saving some euros, right?
