What neighborhood do you live in Barcelona?
In the upperside, downtown, in the bohemian Borne or the hipster Gracia… Insiders usually say that the sea is very far away and Vallvidrera is almost considered a Sunday trip… Why? Because insiders divide the city of Barcelona by their neighborhoods, lifestyle, leisure or proximity / distance …
Enalquiler.com conducted a study based on the opinions of the users who participated in the Neighbourhood section. The findings of this study are:
- Les Corts, Les Tres Torres, Coll, Diagonal Mar, Front Maritim in Poblenou and the Bordeta neighborhoods are best rated in Barcelona.
- Sarria- Sant Gervasi , Sagrada Familia , Sants , Sarria – Sant Gervasi Galvany , Vila de Gracia , Verdum , Barceloneta, Poble Sec, Bon Pastor, Antiga Esquerra Eixample , Sant Antoni , Horta … Occupy the second position .
- El Raval , Gòtic , Trinitat , Roquetas , Carmel , Meridiana, Canyelles … Occupy third place.
In this study we have collected about 800 Insiders opinions about their neighborhoods.
” I love living in this neighborhood. I have lived in 3 different homes and have always chosen Les Corts “, Sonia.
“Les Corts is a midpoint. You feel like being close to everywhere.” Nuria
Olivia is in love with the Vila de Gràcia but also tells us a bad point :
“It’s original and you have plenty of cool things all around. It is the safest neighborhoods in Barcelona and people in general tends to be quite friendly, especially in shops. The atmosphere is very nice, young , sociable . When you see that every night there’s party in the streets and you live in the place where the whole town is out (not just the neighborhood) , you realize that you won’t be able to sleep a single night. In August you have to go on vacation , it is unbearable”.
“La Barceloneta is authentic and fun. I like it all: the neighborhood, the environment, the people, the beach, the location, communication ,everything! ” Tomasín
