Jarno Kettunen, finlandés, es un apasionado del lujo y de la alta costura y dibuja sus observaciones con dibujos hechos al momento. Con un estilo muy particular ha plasmado con sus trazos los desfiles de Jean Paul Gaultier, Dior Homme y A.F. Vandervorst por citar algunos. Lo que lo ha hecho conocido por el mundo son sus ‘action drawings’, los retratos que hace a tiempo real en los backstage de los desfiles plasmando los looks y la atmósfera que ahí se respira. Ha publicado sus dibujos en Elle, Vogue, Nylon, Wound, Metal… y sólo ha hecho que empezar.

Hace unas semanas hizo una presentación en Barcelona en el Still Light a la que me hubiese encantado ir pero una reunión de última hora no me dejó ‘escaparme’.

Jarno Kettunen, Finish, is a luxury and haute couture passionate who draws his own perspective of this world. With a particular style he has made the drawings of Jean Paul Gaultier’s, Dior HOmme’s and A.F. Vandervorst’s catwalks. His ‘action drawings’ have launched him to the fame. These are life drawing at the backstage where he shows the atmosphere and the designer’s collection. Some weeks ago he presented it’s creations at Still Light in Barcelona. I couldn’t go because of work but really would have loved to!

  6. Exacteo Jose_airam! eso es lo que me gusta de estos dibujos, la capacidad de reflejar las tendencias con un estilo tan personal, algunos tan bonitos y otros tan… indefinidos!
